since it’s valentine’s day and all, why not do a post on love for once.
ok, not about love, but about a bridge. close enough.

.
Pont de l’Archeveche – it’s one of the many bridges in Paris where couples go and proclaim their eternal love by putting their names on a lock, placing it on the bridge, and throwing the key in the river.

Pont de l’Archevêché, in front of Notre Dame.

Locks on the Pont des Arts Bridge

.
…it looks lovely, but Parisians aren’t feeling it
(love after all, isn’t about locking things up, it’s about letting go…….
….psht.)
ok. they may be right. : )

OOH i love this. So cute. Makes me kind of wish that i would have visited stuff like this when I was in France instead of shopping all day. Oh well, I guess its a good enough excuse to make want to go back and do all the corny touristy stuff.
