i love it.

only when it comes to architecture though.

for instance…

L’Opera Restaurant, at L’Opera Garnier in Paris.

This lovely new restaurant was built into the famous L’Opera Garnier building just this summer, by French architect Odile Decq. The structure was originally built in 1875, and is the actual building that the classic ‘Phantom of the Opera’ is based around.

i’m absolutely in love with the juxtaposition of glass curtain walls and a classical stone structure.. the rich yellow of the original building with the stark red and white interior.. yum. : )
